Refunds & Returns Policy

At Calm. Bakery, we take pride in crafting each of our products with care and precision. We want all our customers to be happy with their order, and we understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan. Please read our refund and return policy carefully.


Custom Cakes & Special Orders

All custom cake orders are made to your specific requirements and are non-refundable for change of mind if adequate notice is not provided. Please see our cancellation policy below.

If there is an issue with your cake:

  • Please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery.

  • Provide clear photos of the issue.

  • If the error is found to be on our part (e.g. wrong flavour, major design flaw), we will offer a partial refund or remake the item where possible.


Cancellations

  • 72 hours’ notice is required for cancellations on all standard cake orders for a full refund.

  • Custom orders (including tiered or specialty cakes) require 5+ days’ notice for a refund. 

    Any decorations or custom details we have sourced specifically for your order will not be refunded.

  • Cancellations made with less notice may result in a partial refund or store credit, depending on how much work has already been done.


Change of Mind

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind once an order has been prepared or collected.


Pickup & Delivery Issues

  • If a cake is not picked up on the agreed date, it will be held for 24 hours. No refunds will be issued for missed pickups.

  • For deliveries, we ensure all items leave our premises in perfect condition. Once it is handed over, we are not responsible for damage that occurs after delivery, such as mishandling or improper storage.


Allergies & Dietary Requests

Our kitchen handles common allergens therefore we do not guarantee any product is 100% allergen-free. Refunds will not be issued in cases of allergic reactions where disclosure was made.


Customer Satisfaction

If you’re not happy with a product, please reach out within 24 hours. We may request you return the uneaten portion of the item so we can assess the issue. 
We aim to resolve any complaints fairly and promptly.

If no photos or uneaten portion is provided by the customer, we may not be able to assess the issue adequately and no action will be required on our part.
