1. What is a chiffon cake?

A chiffon cake is a very light and fluffy sponge cake, common in asian-style bakeries for its light texture and lower sugar content (compared to traditional sponge, mud or pound cakes). Its main leavening agent is egg whites (meringue), producing a cloud-like, pillow soft, and delicious cake - great paired with fresh whipped cream!

2. Where is pick up located?

Calm. Bakery shares a space with its sister company Grainbuds Sweets, located at Shop 136/79-87 Beaconsfield Street, Silverwater 2128. 

Our opening hours are by appointment only.

For cake pick ups, it is easiest to search up "Tripoli Pizza" on Google Maps to arrive on the correct street.

Pick up can also be organised from St Johns Park 2176 on a limited basis. Please check available pick up times before ordering. 

3. Is there parking there?

Yes! There is unlimited street parking outside our store at Silverwater. 

4. Do you offer delivery?

Yes! Limited delivery is available to the following postcodes on Saturday and Sundays only: 2128, 2142, 2141, 2140, 2127, 2121, 2144, 2145, 2150, 2161, 2200, 2196, 2190, 2137, 2138, 2134, 2131, 2046, 2047, 2176, 2175, 2162, 2163, 2164, 2165, 2166, 2168, 2170, 2171, 2177, 2178. 

Delivery is $10 to these postcodes for orders under $80. Any orders over $80 have free delivery. 

5. What is included in mixed fruit (seasonal) flavour?

Relying on current market availabilities, mixed fruit relies on the season for what's on offer, for the sweetest and freshest options. It usually includes a mix of up to 3 different fruits, and can include: strawberry, mandarin/orange, grapes, melon or lychee. If you have any preferences to not include a certain fruit, feel free to leave a note in the special instructions section of your order.

6. Can I choose more than one filling?

Yes you can! You can select up to 2 fillings, e.g. strawberry + lychee, or chocolate + strawberry. Please select one of the options, and type your other filling selection in the "special instructions" section of the order form.

7. How tall are your cakes?

Our 5 inch and 6 inch cakes include 3 layers of sponge and 2 layers of cream + filling, standing at around 13-15cm tall with no decorations.

Our 8 inch cake includes 3 layers of sponge and 2 layers of cream + filling, standing at around 15-18cm tall.

8. I would like a bigger cake, different size, or a custom design!
